William Rolleston responds to Bryce Johnson

It is good to finally see that Bryce Johnson has, to some extent, acknowledged the hard work that farmers are doing and the journey that they are on but as for the fear mongering accusation he should level that as much at the environmental activists says South Canterbury farmer and businessman William Rolleston.
It is my firm belief that Fish and Game and Forest & Bird pulled out of the Land and Water Forum because the science is starting to say that there are ways to mitigate our environmental footprint other than simply reducing cow numbers across the board.
In fact you could go as far as saying that the progress made on the environment by the National Coalition Government in its nine years on the Treasury benches will be comparable in historical terms with the contribution made by the Labour Government and Rogernomics to the economy in the post-Muldoon 1980’s.
